DESCRIPTION:Striking A Creative Spark! \nA supportive & relaxed space for youth to come create\, have fun\, and socialize outside of the classroom during the Alberta teachers strike! \nDue to the Alberta teachers strike beginning on October 6\, Route 22 will be offering drop-in creative programming for youth ages 12 – 17! \nThese sessions will be led by Lara Kruger\, a professional multi-disciplinary artist with 10+ years of teaching experience in the arts! \nCome create\, have fun\, and socialize in a relaxed and supportive creative space! \nDates: \n– October 9th\, 2025 \n– October 16th\, 2025 \n– *Dependent on how long the teachers strike will last\, more dates may be added!! \nTimes: \n– 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM \n– 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM \nLocation: \n– Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery\, Cochrane\, AB \nCost: \n– $10 per drop-in session\, +GST | Fees \nAges: \n– 12 – 17 \nBasic supplies will be included: \n– Assorted paints \n– Paper \n– Mixed media \nBring any other supplies you already have and want to work with!!
