Description
This was an incredibly fun piece to paint. It was done during an Art Wars competition where we were given only 2 days to finish it, and that was while we visited with the public and also staffed our own art booths! I really liked the feeling this painting gave. You know that the person has hiked some distance to get here and is probably getting tired. But when he stands on that rock and gazes at the waterfall in all its beauty, he forgets about the struggle of reaching this isolated place and instead is lost in the moment of contemplation and awe.
