Jo McDonald

Painter

Based in Cochrane Alberta and with her studio located in Calgary, Jo follows her bliss through art. With a deep love of the outdoors from a young age, Jo’s paintings depict the playfulness and beauty that encompass nature. Jo enjoys working in acrylics following an impressionistic style and provides her unique view of the natural world for all to enjoy.

Jo’s self-taught painting process is based on the joy and happiness that her adventures in nature bring to her. Using expansive sweeping brush strokes, Jo’s paintings evoke the wildness of the locations she paints.
