Tracy LaPointe

Artist

Being an Artist all my life I have always enjoyed putting a creative twist on pretty much everything I tackle. From designing clothing, making wine, constructing mosaic tiling to landscaping my own floral gardens that I share with the bees all summer long.

In the past I worked with liquid ink, watercolors, oils, and pastels but lately I have been focusing on painting with acrylics.

I absolutely love starting out with a blank canvas in hand, a vision in my mind and strong feeling in my heart. I experiment with the colors till they all come together making anything possible. That’s the magical process to complete a piece that I’m proud to share.

It is so rewarding to have someone find a treasure in something I have created. I find inspiration from my lifestyle and travels… Stampede horses to Rodeo clowns, Mardi Gras masks to Sugar Skulls, Bears to Hummingbirds. Everyday there is something to take my breathe away… my grandsons beautiful smiles or the beauty of the Rocky mountains – Art is endless!

My life is about finding happiness and beauty in the calm of painting
