Striking A Creative Spark!
A supportive & relaxed space for youth to come create, have fun, and socialize outside of the classroom during the Alberta teachers strike!
Due to the Alberta teachers strike beginning on October 6, Route 22 will be offering drop-in creative programming for youth ages 12 – 17!
These sessions will be led by Lara Kruger, a professional multi-disciplinary artist with 10+ years of teaching experience in the arts!
Come create, have fun, and socialize in a relaxed and supportive creative space!
Dates:
– October 9th, 2025
– October 16th, 2025
– *Dependent on how long the teachers strike will last, more dates may be added!!
Times:
– 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
– 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM
Location:
– Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery, Cochrane, AB
Cost:
– $10 per drop-in session, +GST | Fees
Ages:
– 12 – 17
Basic supplies will be included:
– Assorted paints
– Paper
– Mixed media
Bring any other supplies you already have and want to work with!! It can be 2D or 3D!
