Barb has taken many workshops with different artists over the year and enjoys learning different techniques. Her Art and be found at art shows with The BowWest Painters, The Escape Artists, and at Route 22 Art Gallery.
Barb is a landscape artist who shows her love of the outdoors in her work. Living in Alberta gives her access to some of the most amazing subject matter. Working both in her studio and plein air she captures the beauty of the moment and translates it onto canvas. Working in oils and acrylics she uses bright colours and bold brushstrokes to express her art. She is constantly growing as an artist and loves trying new techniques and subject matter. When viewing her art she wants people to experience the joy and excitement of art. Barb belongs to various art groups in Calgary, and Cochrane. She also exhibits her art in Route 22 Gallery in Cochrane Alberta.
