Acrylic Painter

Lorri Pullman-MacDonald

I am lucky enough to live in one of the most beautiful places on earth. The landscape is a constant inspiration for my art. My aim is to capture light as it brings a scene to life. I use a technique where I layer transparent glazes of paint that helps my art glow.

Lorri has been creating art since she was a girl. The landscape where she lives is her inspiration. She paints with acrylics, using a technique that layers transparent glazes of paint. This technique helps her paintings glow and capture the light in nature.

Lorri took first place at the Calgary stampede in the Western Showcase. She has signature status with the Federation of Canadian Artists and a BFA from U of C. She also has a painting in a Chinese Embassy as well as corporate and private collections in North America and Europe.

The intersection where art, culture and community converge.
Route 22 Gallery is located on the land of the Treaty 7 people. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Treaty 7 territory and the cultural and oral practices of the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations as well as the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, (Métis Nation District 4) within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. It is a privilege and and an honour to share these lands as our collective home. Route 22 Artist Collective Gallery is an inclusive organization. We love our community and all are welcome here.
