Michael Emery

A seasoned creator, guide, storyteller and sculptor of many years, Michael doesn’t just carve stone, he carves moments of tranquility.  His hands, weathered by years of shaping soapstone, harbour secrets whispered by the ancient rocks themselves.

When you step into his workshop, you’re not merely learning to carve, you’re embarking on a serene journey.

“Life is soapstone – soft, malleable, and full of surprises.  So, grab a rasp, embrace the imperfections, and sculpt your joy.  And remember, when in doubt, meditate.  Or eat chocolate.  Both work!”
