Audience: All ages welcome, children under 10 must be accompanied by a guardian 14+
*Please note that participants must be registered, but family members/guardians in attendance who are not participating in the projects are not required to register*
Description:
Welcome to Nature Studio!
Come join us Friday mornings in July & August, for a fun-filled exploration of the beauty of nature and self-expression. This series offers hands-on experience for all ages to connect with the great outdoors and get messy with some art materials. Each week we will have an exciting art & nature project, complete with printed instructions and guidance from an experienced educator. Come once or attend the entire series! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to immerse yourself in the wonders of summer and make some memories.

Week 2 – July 12th – Tie-Dye T-Shirts (shirt not included)
Week 3 – July 19th – Found Land & Shadow Art
Week 4 – July 26th – Environmental Posters/Signs
Week 5 – August 2nd – Plein Air Painting
Week 6 – August 9th – Building Inukshuks
Week 7 – August 16th – Rock Painting
Week 8 – August 24th – Art & Nature Scavenger Hunt (there are prizes!)
IMPORTANT: This is an outdoor event series. Please come dressed for the weather and bring beverages/snacks at your discretion. In the event of unfavorable weather, we will utilize the stage area or reschedule as needed.
