$65.00

Date: July 21st

Location: Route 22 Gallery

Description:

This wellness workshop will consist of half a day at Route 22 to learn about tools for our own personal needs and attainable goals for our wellbeing. We will learn about the foundations of wellbeing and healthy living, enjoy what Route 22 has to offer with and its community gallery before we dive into contemporary collage (with a whimsical found poetry element) to develop our own gentle goals. Finding written words and images to spot glimmers in our own ordinary days, our envisioned life and in our imagined futures – we will create our own “Glimmer boards”. No artistic experience is necessary, just a desire to maximize joy and seek to answer…… what do you have in your wellness basket?

*All supplies are included*

R22-award

Route 22 Gallery is located on the land of the Treaty 7 people. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Treaty 7 territory and the cultural and oral practices of the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations as well as the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, (Métis Nation District 4) within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. It is a privilege and and an honour to share these lands as our collective home.

Route 22 is an inclusive organization. We love our gallery – all are welcome here.
