Karen Ho Fatt

Karen Ho Fatt Lee is a Canadian designer and visual artist. After graduating from the Faculty of Architecture, University of Manitoba, she practiced both commercial and residential interior design until turning towards the fine arts. Karen is also a BFA graduate of the Alberta University of the Arts.

Known for her diverse skill set and attention to detail, she is a creative problem solver with innovative ideas and solutions. Her primary aim is to create timeless designs that will ultimately transform the interior and exterior environment.

Originally form Jamaica, Karen first set foot in the winter of Regina, Saskatchewan eventually settling in Calgary, Alberta. Karen now lives in the beautiful foothills of the Rocky Mountains, which provides an endless and perpetual source of inspiration.

Route 22 Gallery is located on the land of the Treaty 7 people. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Treaty 7 territory and the cultural and oral practices of the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations as well as the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, (Métis Nation District 4) within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. It is a privilege and and an honour to share these lands as our collective home.
