Kimberley Cook

Painter

Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, artist Kimberley Cook worked as an Architectural draftsperson for 13 years, and made the switch to fine arts in 1996.

Kimberley Cook painted full time until 2013 where she took a break to pursue Staging/Interior Decorating and is now back painting full time where her passion truly lies.

Kimberley’s Artwork is in collections around the world. She continues to be a student of life, always learning, always evolving, always taking chances, her journey being seen through the paintings she creates along the way.

Route 22 Gallery is located on the land of the Treaty 7 people. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Treaty 7 territory and the cultural and oral practices of the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations as well as the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, (Métis Nation District 4) within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. It is a privilege and and an honour to share these lands as our collective home.
