Lucie has travelled from the Arctic to the Andes and the Amazon, and her travels and experiences influence her artwork and world view. Her artwork is mostly inspired by Nature. Patterns, cycles and rhythms in Nature inform her artwork and life. The cycles and seasons of life and death, as ebb and flow, and seasonal migrations are of interest. She loves to explore and discover new ideas and media. She works with acrylic paint, mixed-media, photography, installation and video.
“I am passionate about exploring the connections between creativity, art-making and healing, and sharing these in community. I am an enthusiastic Visual Artist-Educator, designing and delivering creative experiential art-based workshops for public and private events for children, youth and adults.” – Lucie Bause
