Wendi Forster
After a career in the oil patch as a Professional Accountant, I decided it was time for a change and have pursued my passion for photography.
As a Nature Photographer, I look to adventures that are outside the “normal” photography outings. I have been to Churchill to photograph polar bears, Alaska for the Katmai grizzly bears, Ecuador for the Speckled Andean Bears and the Great Bear Rainforest in search of the rare spirit bear. While wildlife, particularly bears, are my passion, I also enjoy taking landscapes as well as night photography. There is something to be said for sitting under the stars while waiting for the milky way to appear or enjoying an early morning sunrise that lights up the sky with reds, yellows and oranges. My images all hold many memories of each adventure and it is my hope that they will bring you back to a special memory in your life.
As a result, I am an accredited photographer with the Professional Photographer’s of Canada. I have four PPOC accreditation in my photo portfolio as well as 3 sealed images with Master Photographer International.
My website displays only a select few of all the images that I have collected over the years. If there is something particular that you are looking for, chances are that I would have it in my vast collection, so please feel free to reach out and let me know what memory you are looking for to add to your home.
My images are currently being shown in several venues in Calgary, Cochrane, and Canmore.
