Yanina Eberhard

Yanina Eberhard, an Argentine-born artist now living in Calgary, Canada, finds profound inspiration in the natural world. Originally trained as a biochemist, Yanina’s move to Canada rekindled her love for art, leading her to create works that blend her Argentine heritage with her Canadian experiences. Her art captures the beauty and strength of nature through a unique lens, blending realism with impressionistic influences.

Drawing inspiration from the Impressionists, Yanina combines careful planning with a spirit of experimentation. Her vibrant color palettes and intricate compositions are designed to evoke an emotional connection, encouraging viewers to appreciate and protect the environment.

For Yanina, art is more than a passion—it’s a daily practice and a journey of self-expression and discovery. Her work has received accolades and recognition, enriching the art community with innovative styles and techniques. Through her creations, Yanina celebrates the natural world, inviting others to explore its beauty and resilience on a deeper level.

Route 22 Gallery is located on the land of the Treaty 7 people. In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Treaty 7 territory and the cultural and oral practices of the Îyâxe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations as well as the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika, Kainai, Piikani. We acknowledge that this territory is home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, (Métis Nation District 4) within the historical Northwest Métis homeland. It is a privilege and and an honour to share these lands as our collective home.
